Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (Mark 16:16) – To believe in the Lord Jesus Christ means to believe that He is the one and only Son of God, that He died for our sins, and that He arose from the grave.  This is the Good News as set forth in the Bible (I Corinthians 15:1-4).

Repent (Acts 17:30; Luke 13:3-5) – To repent means to turn from sin to righteousness; from self to Jesus.  It is to actually change one’s mind and live wholly to please God!  Repentance is when one genuinely and sincerely recognizes their sin and vows to turn away from it.

Confess Christ (Matthew 10:32-33) – To confess is to let others know that you believe Jesus is the Son of God and your Lord and Savior!

Be Baptized into Christ (Acts 2:38) – To be baptized is to identify yourself with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.  The Scripture makes it clear that baptism is for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit.  We are to baptize as the Scriptures instruct, by immersion and in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Live Faithfully for Christ (I Corinthians 15:58; Acts 2:42) – Following our baptism into Christ, our love for Christ and His commandments will lead us to a faithful life of worship, prayer, communion, giving, serving, fellowship, and sharing the Gospel!  Once saved always saved is a myth.  We must continue to love, trust, have faith, and obey the Lord!  The Bible warns about falling away from the Lord.  The life of a Christian is one of continual worship, obedience, repentance, prayer, study, sharing, and service.

STEPS TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN
IF, WHEN BAPTIZED, YOU:
1) Put on Christ (Galations 3:27)

2) Wash Away Sins (Acts 22:16)

3) Receive Remission of Sins (Acts 2:38-39)

4) Are Saved (1 Peter 3:21)

5) Made Free from Sin (Romans 6:17-18)

6) Benefit by Jesus' Death (Romans 6:3-4)

7) Enter the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13)
WHAT IS YOUR CONDITION WITHOUT BAPTISM?
