FIND A CHURCH

 

It is so important to be active in a local church congregation.  Those who have obediently followed God's steps to becoming a Christian are added to The Lord's Church.  It is also called "The Church" and it consists of all true, obedient Christians who continually submit to the will of God.  However, the Bible clearly demonstrates the purposes of local church congregations.  God doesn't need our money, our endorsement, or even our worship.  However, He graciously allows us to be a part of His work.  We are so blessed to be used by God to help carry out His will.

 

It is critical that you find a local church that studies, teaches, and preaches from the Bible.  The Word of God is being watered down in so many of America's pulpits.  Many church-goers simply aren't reading the Bible for themselves and sit idle as the man behind the pulpit delivers motivational speeches or false teachings.  Here's a great test: If Jesus attended and sat in the pews for all of your services and church functions, would you be uncomfortable?  Are you 100% confident He would approve of what your church is teaching and doing?
